I’m an MSBS student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, an EMT, and an aspiring MD/PhD candidate. I graduated from NYU Tandon in 2025, majoring in Biomolecular Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. At NYU Engineering, and later NYU Langone, I generated embedded-sensing synthetic skin and studied DYRK1A–APP interactions in Down syndrome mice. Afterwards, I interned at Columbia Engineering, studying geothermal heat reactors and passive tracking solar. Later at Pfizer Vaccine R&D, I developed CNN protein mutagenesis systems, viral sequence databasing, and experimental remote automation. Now, as a graduate student in the Castellano Lab, I investigate ApoE3/4 plasma proteomics in aging and design machine-learning morphology pipelines.
Researching peripheral blood-borne factors in ApoE context mice and LGALS3 mechanisms using parabiosis, microfluidics, perfusions, and structural experiments.
Studied DYRK1A trisomy and its impact on synaptic plasticity in Down syndrome model mice, including cell-type specific manipulations and pharmacologic rescue.
911 BLS EMT at Saint Barnabas Hospital and ALS operator supporting paramedic-led emergencies across NYC hospital systems.
Built protein generative-AI pipelines and supported protein engineering experiments for improved enzyme variants.
Developed soft-robotic prosthetics and flexible biosensors for pressure/electro sensitivity in wearable systems.
Helped train ML models for retinotopic visual cortical mapping and generated dorsal/ventral visual cortex maps.
Designed, modeled, and tested novel passive ground heat exchanger systems (NSF-supported).
Project work spanning nanocrystal filtration, N95 mask reuse/disinfection systems, and passive solar tracking.
Student-run primary care clinic serving uninsured patients; manage case logistics and connect patients to resources.
Supportive ED volunteering focused on patient comfort and communication.
Shadowed day-to-day neuropathology workflow including case discussion, smears/staining, and tumor board exposure.
Built protein generative-AI pipelines using ProGen1, ProtGPT, and RITA, with structure evaluation via AlphaFold2 and PyRosetta.

Down syndrome mouse-model research on synaptic plasticity and cell-type specific mechanisms, including Arc in situ hybridization and pharmacologic rescue.

Studying circulating youth-associated factors and TIMP2/ECM microenvironmental effects using parabiosis, microfluidics, and perfusion workflows.
